LaraPush YouTube Push Notification Integration Guide

LaraPush allows content creators and brands to collect push notification subscribers directly from their YouTube audience. This enables automatic notifications for new videos—sent directly to subscribers' devices even when they're not on YouTube.

🎯 Use Case

Who is this for?
YouTube creators who want to:

  • Notify their followers the moment a new video goes live.
  • Build a direct communication channel outside of YouTube.
  • Increase repeat viewers and traffic with real-time alerts.

Instead of relying on YouTube's built-in notifications (which are often missed), LaraPush ensures your alerts are delivered reliably via the browser.

🚀 How to Add Your YouTube Channel to LaraPush

Follow these steps to set up your channel and begin collecting subscribers via push notifications:

Step 1: Navigate to the YouTube Section

From your LaraPush dashboard, click on the YouTube option under the Collect menu on the sidebar.

You will see a list of all previously connected YouTube channels along with metrics such as:

  • LP Link
  • Desktop/Mobile Subscribers
  • Total
  • Status
  • Action Buttons

Step 2: Add a New YouTube Channel

Click the Add YouTube Channel button.

You will be taken to a form that asks for:

  • YouTube Channel URL:
Enter the full URL of your channel in the format:
    https://www.youtube.com/@your_channel_name

  • Prompt Text:
This is the message shown to visitors encouraging them to subscribe (e.g., "Subscribe to receive notifications for new videos").

  • Force Subscribe (optional):
If enabled, the user is required to allow push notifications before continuing.

Click Add Channel to save and generate your push link.

Once the channel is saved, LaraPush will generate a custom LP Link like:
https://demo.larapu.sh/yt/XXXXX

This link is unique for your YouTube channel. It:

  • Opens a branded prompt page with your channel’s identity.
  • Automatically triggers the push notification subscription.
  • Tracks subscriber counts across desktop and mobile.

You can now share this link in:

  • Your video descriptions
  • Community posts
  • Social media bios
  • Channel banner or pinned comment

📈 Monitoring and Managing Subscribers

From the YouTube dashboard in LaraPush, you can:

  • See subscriber counts split by Desktop, Mobile, and Total
  • Toggle active/inactive status
  • Pause/resume or delete the channel
  • Track the link performance over time

Each entry also shows the creation date and channel name for easy identification.
